You bought a bunch of fresh herbs because a recipe you wanted to try called for a sprig or two. Now what to do with the rest of the bunch?
Some leafy herbs dry well, but others including parsley, cilantro, basil, chervil and rosemary do not. It's a waste of food and money to throw out most of a bunch of fresh herbs just because you couldn't use them fast enough. Here are some ways to preserve their fresh flavors:
